Glenn Tanzman Participates in China Compulsory Certification (CCC) Training Program

Glenn Tanzman of Tanzco Management Consulting participated in a training program on the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) program, mandatory certification required by the Chinese government for over 20% of U.S. exports to China on September 27, 2011 in New York City. Glenn learned about the latest updates to CCC certification procedures and how to avoid delays in shipping to market in China. He also established contact with key decision makers for the CCC program in China.

This training program was offered by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the China Quality Certification Center (CQC), which is designated by the Chinese government to carry out about 80% of CCC certifications in China.  Representatives from CQC gave presentations on their processes and procedures for CCC certification of electrical equipment, household electrical products and automotive components and took questions from participants. The program presented the opportunity to network with the Chinese delegation and with the other American and Canadian companies who attended.
